Dr. Alfred Wong graduated in the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong in 1995. He developed his interest in Vascular Surgery when he was an intern to Professor Stephen Cheng and Dr. Albert Ting in October in the same year. Initially he was trained in Hong Kong East Cluster. His interest of Vascular Surgery grew as he rotated back to QMH as a high surgical trainee in 2002, when he learned both open and endovascular skills with Professor Stephen Cheng and Dr. Albert Ting. After his Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship in Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia in 2007, he came back to Hong Kong and kick-started the Endovascular Surgical Services in PYNEH and RH with Dr. Renny Yien. Dr. Wong was promoted to Associate Consultant in Vascular Surgery in QMH in 2008 and the circle was completed. He worked closely with Professor Stephen Cheng and Dr. Albert Ting since then. Currently he serves as Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Hong Kong West Cluster, as well as the Director of Training Program in Vascular Surgery Board, The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong.
