Dr. Cally Ho is Chief of Service and Consultant Cardiac Surgeon in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2000 and completed her Master of Medical Sciences in 2011 from The University of Hong Kong. She began her cardiothoracic surgical training at Grantham Hospital in 2004 and obtained her Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2008. She further specialized in heart and lung transplantation and ventricular assist devices at Papworth Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Ho’s clinical interests include heart transplantation, lung transplantation, ventricular assist devices, mechanical circulatory support, aortic surgery, and complex redo valve surgeries. She is actively involved in the aortic registry and contributes to the development of the heart and lung transplantation and VAD programs within her department.
