Dr. Ivy Chan is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric Surgeon in the Division of Paediatric Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric urological conditions. With a profound commitment to her young patients, she manages a comprehensive range of congenital and acquired disorders, including hypospadias, vesicoureteral reflux, neurogenic bladder, undescended testes, and other complex inguino-scrotal conditions.

Dr. Chan received her medical degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2005 and attained her Fellowship in 2012. She further honed her expertise through advanced training at world-renowned institutions such as Boston Children’s Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Guys Hospital and Beijing Children's Hospital. This has equipped her with extensive experience in both the surgical and non-surgical management of paediatric urological diseases.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Chan is deeply committed to advancing her field. She actively contributes to research with publications in prestigious journals such as The Lancet and an esteemed speaker, having been invited to deliver lectures by both local and international medical societies. 

Dr. Chan also holds significant leadership roles as the Secretary of the Hong Kong Society of Paediatric Surgery and the Honorary Secretary of the Specialty Board for Paediatric Surgery, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, advocating for improved paediatric healthcare access and awareness.
