Professor Jiexiong Feng, MD, PhD, is Director, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor of the Pediatric Surgery Department as well as Deputy Director of the Surgery Department at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan.

Professor Feng is the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery and the Editor-in-Chief of the National Health Commission’s Planning Textbook Pediatric Surgery for Graduate Students. His influence extends nationally as the President-Elect of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and Vice President of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. Additionally, he chairs the Pediatric Professional Committee of the China Chapter of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association and leads the Hubei Provincial Clinical Medical Research Center for Hirschsprung's Disease and Allied Disorders as its Director.

Being a key figure in advancing pediatric surgical standards, Professor Feng is the Chairman of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Hubei Medical Association and the Director of the Hubei Provincial Pediatric Surgery Quality Control Center. His prolific academic contributions include over 300 publications in journals such as JCI, Science Advances, Developmental Cell, and Nano Energy.
