Dr. Ki Kwong Li is Consultant and Head of Thoracic Surgery Unit of Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 2008 and completed his specialty training in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Hong Kong. He obtained his Fellowship from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018.
With over a decade of surgical experience at Tuen Mun Hospital, Dr. Li further expanded his expertise through advanced overseas training in Canada, France, and Taiwan in 2023.
Dr. Li has developed his interests in thoracic surgery, making significant contributions to the field, particularly in minimal invasive surgery and endoscopic interventions which include uniportal VATS, sublobar resection, navigation bronchoscopy, EBUS, airway interventions, localization techniques, and non-intubation surgery, etc.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Li is actively engaged in advancing lung cancer treatment. He is frequently invited to share his insights on novel treatment modalities at both regional and international conferences.
