Dr Masashi Takeuchi obtained Board Certification of Surgery of Japan Surgical Society in 2017, Board Certification of Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery and Japanese Society of Medical Oncology in 2019. Then he was a Research Fellow in IRCAD France, Strasbourg, France from 2020- 2021 to research and develop AI-based surgical system. He is now faculty of  Department of Surgery, Keio University School of Medicine.

 

Dr Takeuchi received a number of awards and honours including Encouragement Resident Award in the 332th Congress of Japanese Gastroenterological Association (June 2014), the Torin-Encouraging Award of Alumni Association, Department of Surgery, Keio University (June 2019), Presentation Award in the 122th Annual Congress of Japan Surgical Society (April 2022), and Presentation Award in the 61st annual meeting of Japanese society of clinical oncology (October 2023).
