Dr. Ming Lau is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong SAR, and holds the position of Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 2023 and Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong (FCSHK) in 2024.

Dr. Lau is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery. His scholarly work includes publications in indexed international journals.  He is also a reviewer for various peer-reviewed medical publications. He presents his research at both local and international conferences, sharing insights with peers worldwide.

Beyond clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Lau is deeply engaged in medical education. He plays an integral role in teaching medical and nursing students, as well as contributing as a speaker for continuing professional development courses for practicing doctors and nurses.
