Dr. Yuk Him Tam graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1993. He commenced his surgical training at Prince of Wales Hospital in 1994. Currently, he is Chief of Service for the Department of Surgery at Hong Kong Children’s Hospital and Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at Prince of Wales Hospital. His clinical interests include pediatric urology, pediatric robotic surgery, and neonatal surgery.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Tam is Chairman and Chief Examiner of the Pediatric Surgery Board of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2022. In addition, he has authored over 130 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals.
